How It Works

$PAPPLE is staked on Ethereum to earn rewards from ecosystem activity. 1% of all token tax is allocated to the staking rewards pool. Rewards are distributed based on staked amount — the more $PAPPLE staked, the larger the share of the pool. Daily claims are available through the staking dashboard.

Staking APY ranges from approximately 3% to 15%, depending on tier and prevailing conditions.

Staking Tiers and The Pineapple Mansion

Pineapple uses a tiered staking model. Higher tiers unlock greater yield, early access to features, and access to the Pineapple Mansion — the ecosystem's private community on Discord.

The Pineapple Mansion is where the most committed members of the Pineapple community participate in governance discussions, receive team updates ahead of public announcements, and have a meaningful voice in the direction of the ecosystem. It is an invitation-only layer of the community, unlocked by staking at the required tier.

Penthouse Elite is the highest staking tier. Members receive the largest share of reward distributions.

Token-Gating

Staking $PAPPLE at qualifying tiers unlocks access to the Pineapple Mansion — the premium Discord channel where members receive more frequent team updates, participate in governance discussions, and stay ahead of ecosystem developments. Token-gating is how Pineapple rewards long-term holders with genuine community advantages alongside yield.

Buyback and Distribution Mechanism

1% of all token tax is allocated to $PAPPLE buybacks and staking distributions. The tax revenue — generated in ETH — is used to purchase $PAPPLE from the open market. All bought tokens flow into the staking rewards pool and are distributed to stakers and Mansion members. This mechanism creates consistent buy pressure tied to real on-chain activity rather than dilutive emissions. On-chain proof is published for every buyback.

In May 2026, over 10 million $PAPPLE — more than 1% of total supply — were purchased from the open market and directed to the staking rewards pool. This represents the first completed buyback milestone for the ecosystem.

Atlas Pineapple Buyback Wallet

A second buyback stream has been established to capture revenue generated by the ATLAS partnership. As ATLAS generates revenue within the Pineapple ecosystem, those funds will be directed to a dedicated on-chain wallet, publicly trackable via the Atlas Pineapple ENS domain. The funds accumulate and are used to purchase $PAPPLE from the open market as revenue builds. When the wallet reaches 1% of total token supply, the accumulated tokens will be distributed through the staking pool — benefiting all staking tiers. This stream has been announced; ATLAS revenue buybacks will begin once the partnership generates its first revenue cycle.
